The Life Sciences Branch Library

This is one of the finest libraries of Japan which provide you a world of information on health and medical science.

The Life Sciences Branch Library, which is one of the most active health science libraries in Japan, was established in 1992 on Suita Campus, as a new branch integrating the Nakanoshima Branch Library and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Branch Library.

It is a store house of knowledge. You will get every information that you seek. It also helps in the spread of education and research.


This library has won rave reviews and recognition from the government. In 1977 the Nakanoshima Branch Library was appointed as one of the resource libraries in the fields of life sciences by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, and has been allocated a regular special budget to subscribe to foreign serials not received in any other library in Japan. The Life Science Branch Library is continuing this role.
