KIWI CLUB OSAKA

Club was funded in June 1987 by judo practitioners within Osaka. Now it is a private non- government organization and also a non- profit organization.

They have taken a lead role in the development and increase of popularity of judo by being involved in activities at a grass- roots level. They are teaching judo to their students without any discrimination. Students of any caste, greed and nation are treated equally in this club. This is considered the number one judo club in Osaka.

Main aim of the club is to promote international friendship, to deepen cultural understanding, and to build a more meaningful relationship between people by training body and soul through judo.

The current activities of the club include supporting overseas sporting trips, supporting overseas students studying judo in Japan and organizing the Osaka International Goodwill Judo Tournament.
