Tugra is Osaka's best Turkish restaurant, is difficult to find even for natives. It's tucked away in a very dicey- looking neighborhood just north of the Dotonbori river in Shinsaibashi. But the food is superb, prepared by a Turkish chef who worked at Istanbul's top hotels. In addition to the usual kebabs, there is a large choice of vegetarian dishes.

The average price of a starter is JPY 700 and that of a main JPT 1,600.
