Street Food in Osaka
Osaka is known all over the world for its culinary delights, and you do not have to go to a restaurant just to sample what culinary delights Osaka has to offer. There are many stalls on the streets of Osaka that sell food like takoyaki, which are fried dumplings stuff with octopus and seaweed, and udon, a type of noodle dish.
Cheap Restaurants in Osaka
Okonomiyaki restaurants are good places to sample authentic Osaka cuisine. Okonomiyaki is a flat, pan-fried cake made of batter and filled with vegetables, meat, seaweed and other ingredients. It is often called Japanese pizza. Another place to eat well but inexpensively in Osaka are the kaiten sushi places, where the people get to grab little sushi plates from a conveyor belt.

Posted by Keira, 31 December, 2007For those who wants to experience the genuine udon, go try the street foods of Osaka. It can rival even those on fancy Japanese restaurants. I just love buy cheap treats and yet get the best dining experience when I am in Japan.
