If you are a night owl and like to swing and gyrate till the wee hours, Explosion is your answer. One of the hottest nightclubs in town, Explosion vibrates with life.

Explosion is a popular dance club for mainly gay men located in Osaka's gay area, Doyama. This small, no- frills, underground bar, with its low ceilings and dance floor is lots of fun when it is busy.

Most of the nights are for men. However, there is a lesbian party ("Labia Rose") once a month. Theme nights are common, such as for sporty types, fat people or foreigners, etc.

One of the favorite haunts in Osaka it has a very relaxing atmosphere, friendly and good looking bartenders. Drinks are cheap costing JPY 500.

This oldest gay bar in Osaka is frequented by middle- aged and mature gay men (30s - 70s). Owner Seiichi is incredibly friendly as are his regular guests. Expect to attract a lot of attention in this warm, amiable and cozy Japanese- style bar. Drink menu is more limited to traditional Japanese libations like shoju spirits.
