Maishima Outdoor Activities Center

Enjoy visiting the city while exploring its outdoors with Maishima Outdoors Activities Center. There is a variety of accommodation ranging from camping facilities, cottages, log houses, a lodge and a large hotel.

There are plenty of outdoor, energy- sapping activities to try, including boating, cycling and inline skating. Or, take it easy and do a spot of bird watching. The Maishima Outdoor Activities Center has various types of accommodations that can be used by a wide range of people according to their outdoor recreational needs.

They include "Lodge Maishima (capacity 242 people)," a hotel- type accommodation complete with a restaurant, large bath, meeting rooms, and multipurpose hall in the style of a modern Scandinavian cottage; 14 log houses (capacity 120 people), each full of originality in American, Swedish, and other styles; and a camping ground (25 tent sites).

The centre remains open all year round from 7p.m to 10p.m but the camping grounds remain closed from Nov 1 to Mar 31.
