Hirakata Park, or in short 'Hirapa', is a local amusement park located in Hirakata City. The park is currently home to five roller coasters.

The 400- meter water shoot Pachanga is an interesting place. Giant fountains, subterranean rumbles and a volcano are some attractions of the park.

Other attractions include Sega World that offers the latest hi- tech games, and Giant Drop Meteo that is a vertical free- fall machine. Moreover, there is the regular autumn special Hirakata Chrysanthemum Dolls where life- size dolls are decorated in traditional costumes made from Chrysanthemum flowers.

They also have an interesting dark ride where you put on headphones and it gives you a 'sense- a- round' feeling.

There are lots of rides, including 5 roller coasters, a free fall, and a bunch of water rides. They also put on shows and have a huge Ferris wheel there. It is a smaller more 'local' park and a perfect place for a day's enjoyment.

Hours: 10a.m- 6p.m; Daily.
